You can’t overestimate the need to plan and prepare. In most of the mistakes I’ve made, there has been this common theme of inadequate planning beforehand. You really can’t over-prepare in business! Chris Corrigan
How many times have you forgotten the first r in FebRuary ?
Well This FebRRuaRRy I’m adding two R’s.
Too many of us make new Years resolutions and don’t keep them up.
We don’t check ourselves along the way and the resolutions turn into good intents.
So this go around I’m going to push forward and check myself before I wreck myself and my business. Beginning Feb.1 I will be instituting changes, implementing strategies and kicking behind ! So what’s the 4 R’s ? Well that’s the method behind the madness.
Rethink – Where do i want to take my business ?
What avenues are available , which are already open and which require additional investment.
Revamp – I spent 2013 building my Financial Services Recruiting opportunity while I maintained my Marketing clients. My current profile reflects this but in the coming days I will slowly convert my profile back and begin accepting new Marketing clients. I will also revamp all of my marketing business’s website as I let them grow a little stale in appearance and functionality. More on that Tomorrow.
Reload – I gather all of the secret intelligence my ninja spies gather and infiltrate the castle of Omolgaron! OOps sorry wrong post ! Here is where I put together all strategies, game plans and partnerships needed to carry my business in 2013
Release the Kracken – I think that is self explanatory. I actually implement the 30 day strategy that I put together.
And the best part of it all is I will keep you guys in the loop. Tomorrow I cover in more depth my Rethink & Revamp Ideas and goals.
If you have any advice please feel free to comment below. If you don’t, a go gettem’ will do wonders.
Thanks
CJ Boston

Definition of Practice
“Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.” – Martha Graham
Definition Of Practice
Practice ? You Said Practice? ( in my Allen Iverson Voice). Yeah practice is the word for today. Our parents used to say practice makes perfect but we just thought practice makes a reason for us to have to do it again and again. I have come to understand that the fundamental problem in that view of practice is the value we put on the thing we are practicing. We must make a practice of doing things that matter. I never thought practicing conjugating verbs would ever benefit me so it was a chore but I find the practice of self-improvement absolutely necessary. As we practice improving ourselves, our community and family those things may never be perfect but will be headed towards perfection. We shouldn’t think of practice as a chore but as choosing a direction. Practicing at our stage can be summarized as actively pursuing a goal. A doctor always has a practice, never does it change. Why when a doctor deals with human live he must continually practice improve but we don’t give the same value to our own human existence?

Doing these Morning motivation posts have taught me a lot and I recommend it to you all. I have found that there are really only a few truths in life. We have hopes/dreams we take action then persevere and finally change. We go through those phases everyday most times several times a day. What separates any instance from being successful or unsuccessful is the way you balance it out and the focus you give to it.

Dang I’m getting old. I find myself set in my ways and looking at others cock-eyed when the change. Wow am I my father? I remember wanting to go to school by myself, yeah I was only six but latch key kids were in style then, and my father had a fit. All the other kids were walking together and i was the biggest out of them all, But my dad refused. My mom being the more progressive let me do it. I have my own businesses and I have no problem changing with the new Google rules but cold calling still is a thorn in my paw. My change for this week is to do at least 10 calls, Stay tuned !

Nothing in the world is permanent, and we’re foolish when we ask anything to last, but surely we’re still more foolish not to take delight in it while we have it. If change is of the essence of existence one would have thought it only sensible to make it the premise of our philosophy. – W. Somerset Maugham

Positive Thinking Blog
A friend of mine has a birthday today a.d I would like to wish her a very happy happy birthday with many more to come. Why do I mention her on post about positive thinking? Well last week she had a “bad feeling” about the weekend . She just knew something was going to happen to just ruin her birthday weekend, poor baby. She was right things did fall apart in a hurry from no baby sitter to female he said she said all the way to her friends standing her up. How the heck can you be positive about that? Well last week when she had these premonitions I said so what? If they fall down keep going, if more crap comes your way keep going this is your weekend you are going to come out on top. She took that advice so when the4 baby sitter backed out she already had a back up plan, when the he said she said began she ignored it and refused to indulge. Even when her friends stood her up she went out by herself and ended up having the time of her life. All this she attributes to repeating to herself this is my weekend , It will come out just fine. Now if we can all take that approach to our everyday lives.
